Well, I’ve been working on an “about August Noble page” for almost a week now trying to answer that question… turns out it’s pretty difficult to explain who you are to someone in just a couple sentences.
So instead of obnoxiously listing accomplishments or giving myself a bunch of made up awards I thought I’d share a couple things with you that will give you a better idea of who I am and how I can (potentially) help you and your business.
I guess a good place to start is to tell you a little more about what I “do for a living”:
I’m a marketing and advertising consultant on a mission to help cool companies do cool things.
What are cool things?
I’m glad you asked:
- Build a world-class brand & drive revenue using online advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Scale to $25,000,000+ in revenue
- Make a positive impact
I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible companies and accomplish some great things…
My favorite part of all of it has been helping entrepreneurs create positive movements and spread their messages.
How Snacks Taught Me Marketing
Yes you read that right.
This so-called marketing consultant August Noble learned everything he knows about marketing, advertising, and entrepreneurship from snacks.
I joined SnackNation‘s marketing team in 2015 when the company was making less than a million dollars a year in revenue. Over the next 3 1/2 years we were able to grow the business over 9,200%, make Inc. 5000’s fastest growing companies list, generate millions of dollars from advertising, and donate millions of meals to families in need.
It was incredible!
We had some fun too 🎉
Taking On My First Clients
During my time at SnackNation I’d often have companies reach out to see if I could replicate the success we were with their businesses.
I wasn’t sure, I’d only ever sold snacks…
But in 2017 I decided to give it a shot and took on an eCommerce client to help with their Facebook and Instagram ads on nights and weekends.
We saw some crazy results!
- Goal: Maximize Revenue
- Spend – $5,585
- Revenue – $64,924
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) – 11.62
I thought I was onto something but wasn’t sure… I decided to take on a few more clients and continue to test (and improve) my strategies.
- Goal: Efficient Revenue
- Spend – $31,780
- Revenue – $448,101
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) – 14.10
- Goal: Efficient Revenue
- Spend – $3,304
- Revenue – $60,376
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) – 18.27
- Goal: New Customer Acquisition
- Spend – $32,571
- New Customers – 2,450
- CPA (Cost per Acquisition) – $13.29
As we continued to see great results my client list continued to grow…
Eventually I decided it was time to venture out on my own and AugustNoble.com was born 🙌
What I’m Up To Today (and How I Can Help You)
Today I run a MASSIVE (1 person… me 😄) eCommerce growth agency focused on helping businesses grow to $25MM+ using Facebook & Instagram ads.
I’ve decided not to hire anyone for now because of my previous experience working with agencies.
You know, the “talk to someone who sells you a bunch of great results – then get passed off to an overwhelmed rep” agencies?
When you work with me, you’re working with me, plain and simple.
Does this limit the amount of clients I can take on?
But it allows me to do the work I love and produce a service I’m proud of… and that’s awesome.
I’ve also partnered with my good friend Max Hogan on our HUMONGOUS (it’s just Max & I 🤫) B2B lead generation agency, Closing Media, where we create LinkedIn marketing campaigns that generate high converting leads.
So if you need help growing your business, or even if you don’t and just want to chat, let’s connect!
You can also always find me on LinkedIn (I’m addicted).
One Other Thing About Me
It’d be impossible to write an “about August Noble” page without mentioning this lovely lady.
Frannie is my better half and the most amazing person I have ever met… she also has the final say on every ad before I push publish.
What Are You Waiting For!?
Honestly, if you’ve read this far you either:
- Have too much time on your hands
- Need help growing your business
Either way, I’d love to hear from you.
